Ride Like The Wind (“RLTW”, “we”, “us”) operates ridelikethewind.net, a tool that shows wind conditions along cycling routes. By using this site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
RLTW lets you enter a route (by pasting a Google Maps link, uploading a GPX file, or plotting your own) and returns wind, elevation, and estimated-speed information for that route, along with tools to download or share a GPX file and track wind conditions live.
Some features require a free account. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Let us know if you think your account's been compromised.
We pull wind and weather data from third-party sources and do our best to keep it accurate and current, but we can't guarantee it's error-free, and conditions can change quickly. RLTW is a planning aid, not a substitute for your own judgement, checking the weather yourself, or riding safely for the conditions you actually encounter. You're responsible for your own safety and route decisions when cycling.
Where paid features exist now or in future, pricing will be shown clearly before you pay, and billing terms (renewal, cancellation, refunds) will be set out at checkout. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing but doesn't automatically refund the current period unless stated otherwise.
The RLTW name, logo, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. You're welcome to use the tool for your own personal cycling planning; you don't get any rights to reuse our branding or copy the site itself.
We may update features, pricing, or these terms from time to time. We'll make a reasonable effort to flag significant changes; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
To the extent permitted by law, RLTW is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, including decisions made based on wind or route data provided.

Cycling and walking on roads and trails carry real risks. Whether you ride a route, how you ride it and the conditions you ride it in are entirely your decision and your responsibility.
